Over the years GAAP has hosted a series of local and international forums. From networking events to interactive workshops, these spaces have been sites for young people to come together to dialogue and build on larger movements.  Read below to find out more information.

Generation Sex, Y, and Z!

In 2010, following the launch of Empower: Youth, Arts and Activism, we heard from youth across the city that they wanted more spaces to come together to network and share savvy skills around youth sexual health. In response, we organized Generation Sex, Y and Z  – an event of interactive workshops, and networking. Hosted at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, the event was organized, and facilitated by a youth advisory committee.  For more information on our event, sponsors, and partners view the event poster here.

International AIDS Conference Youth BBQ

In August 2006, GAAP hosted youth conference delegates from around the world who came to Toronto during the XVI International AIDS Conference. Conference delegates met with students and faculty (many who were also attending, presenting, and volunteering at the conference) to network and strategize. The conference theme was Time to Deliver.
