Youth Activism Over Time examines the factors that have facilitated or constrained youth activist work over time. Drawing on Buroway’s concept of the ‘reflexive revisit’ (2003), the project involves interviews with youth HIV activists, who are asked to reflect on their experience of HIV activism and the factors that have facilitated or constrained their interest and/or ability to continue their activist work over time. Results of the study will be used to create recommendations for supporting youth activist work in HIV/AIDS.
